phs Group expands range of GreenTeck Global technologies
phs Group and GreenTeck Global have strengthened their relationship with an agreement to introduce two additional environmentally-friendly technologies to customers.
The new deal will see the country’s leading hygiene services provider make two of GreenTeck Global’s COSHH-free sanitising solutions even more accessible to UK businesses.
This March, phs clients will be able to benefit from GreenTeck’s pioneering AquaTeck technology, which harnesses the powerful natural sterilisation and odour-destroying properties of hypochlorous acid (HOCl).
The wall-mountable AquaTeck SC-100 and portable AquaTeck Mini units combine ordinary tap water with food-grade salt and vinegar, using a diamond electrode flow-cell to create the HOCl multipurpose disinfectant.
With HOCl easy to produce on-demand, and proven to destroy 99.99% of bacteria, viruses and pathogens, the versatile liquid naturally reverts to its constituent parts, making it safe to pour away after use.
David Thurston, founder and CEO of GreenTeck Global, said: “Our mission has always been to help organisations reduce their dependency on harmful chemicals and embrace powerful, yet eco-friendly technologies designed with the planet in mind.
“These two AquaTeck products allow companies to produce our 100% natural multipurpose HOCl sanitiser on-site and on-demand, a move that reduces the cost and complexity of disinfection while reducing plastic waste and supply chain concerns. We’re delighted that phs recognise how both innovations make good business sense, and excited about this next phase.”
Amanda Haywood, head of product development at phs Group, said: “When we introduced GreenTeck’s pioneering ECOFLOW system to customers last summer, it was clear how companies appreciated on-site solutions with strong sustainability credentials.
“We’re therefore pleased that the next phase of our relationship with GreenTeck Global will make it even easier for our customers to access their alternative green technologies. We’re confident that this move will ensure we’re best placed to connect even more UK companies to safer, more sustainable, and more cost-effective ways of working.”
The development follows the success of phs adding the ECOFLOW product in as part of its product range in summer 2022 as part of a five-year deal; a partnership which simplified the cleaning process in washroom environments for businesses determined to eliminate odour issues in high footfall areas.
